StreetYoga

Street Yoga is dedicated to bringing yoga to people who lack the means to study yoga in conventional settings such as studios, health clubs and retreat centers. We currently focus on teaching yoga to homeless and at risk young people ages 11-20.

Our volunteers teach free yoga classes at sites offering support to young people who lack reliable housing, who are transitioning through the foster care system, who are struggling with poverty, or who live on the streets.

The Human Kindness Foundation, founded by Bo and Sita Lozoff, is a non-profit organization which stresses a way of life based upon three common principles taught by the great sages of all religions: Simple living, a dedication to service, and a commitment to personal spiritual practice.

Besides its internationally respected Prison-Ashram Project, the Foundation sponsors a spiritual community and visitor's center called Kindness House, plus Bo Lozoff's free talks and workshops. Since 1973, Bo has spoken in hundreds of prisons, hospitals, churches, universities and spiritual centers around the globe.

Our catalog features many of Bo's books and tapes (including his well-known classic We're All Doing Time), plus a few special, little-known spiritual gems and classics. 100% of the proceeds go directly to support the work of the Human Kindness Foundation. Donations are always needed and welcomed, and are fully tax-deductible. Most of the items in our catalog are sent free of charge to prisoners, and to anyone else who genuinely can't afford them.
